2 hospitalized after minivan, PGW truck collide in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Two people are hospitalized after an accident in the city's Germantown section.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday along the 4600 block of Greene Street.

Police say a minivan and a Philadelphia Gas Works truck collided, with the minivan coming to a rest against a utility pole.

A man and a woman were rushed to Temple University Hospital for serious, but what are thought to be nonlife-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
