Man, 21, shot in chest in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old man injured in New Castle County.

At about 6:11 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 600 block of Taylor Street for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, the victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.
