CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A fast-moving fire damaged a house, and displaced a family of seven in Camden, New Jersey.

The fire started just before 6 a.m. Thursday on the unit block of North 24th Street.

Officials say heavy flames were showing on the first floor of a second-story, vacant row house.

The fire quickly spread to the second floor, officials say. Crews placed the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported.

A family in the home next door was displaced by the fire.

Officials did not say what, if any, extent of damage was done to the occupied home.

American Red Cross officials were called in to assist the family - two men, two women and three children - with food and clothing. The family did not need assistance with shelter.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
