Dump truck hits utility pole, power out in part of Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Power is out in part of Cherry Hill, New Jersey after a crash.

It was just after 6 a.m. Friday when a dump truck hit a pole in the 600 block of Chapel Avenue.

The crash brought down power lines, knocking out electricity in the area.

There was no immediate word on any injuries.

The road is expected to be closed for some time while the crash is cleaned up and repairs to the power lines are made.
