Man sentenced to prison for raping 8-year-old girl; wife accused of watching

HOUSTON -- A Harris County, Texas man will serve 30 years in prison for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl as his wife allegedly watched.

Mark Munoz pleaded guilty Tuesday to aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Police say Munoz raped the victim, who's now in her 20s, repeatedly and impregnated her.

Authorities allege that Munoz's wife, Angela Munoz, watched two of the assaults, which is why she was also charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Angel Munoz's court date is scheduled for May 2.
