Crews battle basement fire inside NE Philadelphia home

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A basement fire damaged a house in Northeast Philadelphia Thursday morning.

The blaze started around 6:45 a.m. on the 7900 block of Leonard Street.

The Red Cross was called to the scene to help with the displaced residents from the two-story home.

So far, no reports of any injuries.

There is no word on what caused the blaze.
