Orlando doctor posts photo of blood-stained shoes

ORLANDO -- A photo posted on Facebook Monday is getting a lot of attention after a doctor in Orlando, Florida showed what his shoes looked like after treating victims in the nightclub massacre early Sunday morning.

Dr. Joshua Corsa, who says he is a senior resident with the Department of Surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center, posted the photo of his "not even a week old," blood-stained shoes following the attack at Pulse Nightclub that left 49 victims dead, and several others injured.

"This blood, which poured out of those patients and soaked through my scrubs and shoes, will stain me forever. In these Rorschach patterns of red I will forever see their faces and the faces of those that gave everything they had in those dark hours," Corsa wrote in part of a Facebook post.

In less than 24 hours, the post had over 320,000 shares.
