Ocean City boardwalk cleared after bomb threat

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A portion of the Ocean City boardwalk was closed for a short time Saturday morning after a bomb threat.

It happened around 10 a.m. between 12th and 13th streets.

Authorities say someone called in the threat and police responded to the area.

Bomb sniffing dogs were brought in to search the area, but found no signs of any treats.

The area has since reopened to pedestrians.
