EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Even Beyoncé needs to slow down every once in a while.

Under doctor's orders for vocal rest, the superstar singer has postponed the Sept. 7 stop of her Formation World Tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey until Oct. 7, according to a statement released Monday.

But fans in Philadelphia can rest easy. Queen Bey will be proceeding with the September 29th date at Lincoln Financial Field.

Beyonce turned 35 on Sunday and attended the Made in America Festival in Philly with her husband and festival founder Jay-Z.
