RITTENHOUSE SQUARE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have charged a second teenager in connection to a shooting in Rittenhouse Square.
Police say 18-year-old Raeese Nasir turned himself into authorities at Central Detective Division on Monday.
He has been charged with Attempted Murder, Criminal Conspiracy, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, and related offenses.
On October 22, 17-year-old Mehdi Fraiji surrendered to police. He faced similar charges.
Back on October 18, at approximately 9:31 p.m. police on patrol heard multiple gunshots coming from inside Rittenhouse Park.
As they entered the park, numerous people came up to them to say there had been a shooting.
The officers located a 39-year-old male victim lying on the ground, bleeding from his right shoulder and stomach area.
He was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police say Fraiji and Nasir approached two people in the park and announced a robbery.
The victim intervened attempting to stop the robbery.
Police say Fraiji took a gun from Nasir and fired numerous shots at the victim, striking him multiple times. They then fled the scene.
