Man dies after being pulled from Schuylkill River

UNIVERSITY CITY -- A man has died after being pulled from the Schuylkill River near the Market Street Bridge in Philadelphia.

Several people called 911 around 10 a.m. Saturday.

Police arrived to find a 39-year-old man in the river on the University City side of Market Street.

He was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

It's not clear on how the victim ended up in the river.
