Man riding dirt bike struck by tractor trailer in Wilmington

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Police and fire crews responded after a man was struck by a tractor trailer in Wilmington, Delaware.

Police responded at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday to the area of 9th and Monroe streets for a report of a person struck and unconscious.

Action News is told a man riding on a dirt bike was struck by a box truck.

Responding officers located the victim unconscious in the street.

No word on the victim's condition at this time.
