Police: 2 women targeting NJ Burlington stores in distraction scam

EVESHAM TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say two women have stolen money from several Burlington stores throughout New Jersey.

The latest incident occurred on March 4 at the Burlington on the 200 block of South Route 73 in Evesham Township.

Police say one of the suspect distracted the cashier, while the other stole $1,120 from the register.

They say the same pair has hit several Burlington, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, stores throughout the state.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspects on Thursday.
