Woman injured in 2-vehicle crash in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash in Wilmington, Delaware.

The accident occurred around 9 p.m. Saturday on the 4000 block of Lancaster Pike.

A woman was trapped in the wreckage and had to be rescued.

She was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment.

The other driver was not hurt.

There is no immediate word on what caused the vehicles to crash.

Police are investigating.
