Two young men are dead and two others survived after being shot in separate shootings in Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A violent night of gunfire in Philadelphia has left two young men dead, and two others wounded across the city.

Police say a 33-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in North Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday on the 3000 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

The victim was shot in the chest and rushed to Temple University Hospital.

A second shooting was sparked by a dispute between neighbors in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday on the unit block of South 45th Street.

Police say the dispute led to one of the homeowners going into a house, and coming back with a gun.

He then fired seven shots in the rear window of the neighbor's house, police say.

The neighbor was hit in the back, and rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in stable condition.

Around 12:15 a.m. Thursday, two gunmen ambushed a 22-year-old driver in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.

Police say the victim was operating a Pontiac when suspects fired on him, in the 5800 block of Woodcrest Avenue.

The victim continued driving then crashed into a parked vehicle on the 2200 block of N. Wanamaker after suspects unloaded multiple shots at him.

Police say they found sixteen spent shell casings of two separate caliber weapons. The Pontiac the victim was driving was hit nine times.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Also in North Philadelphia, a 22-year-old man was returning from a fast food run when he was shot 14 times and killed.

This incident also happened around 1 a.m. Thursday on the 2900 block of North Mascher Street.

Police say the victim was shot five times in the head and nine times in the torso.

A neighbor drove the victim to Episcopal Hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

There are no suspects or a motive in the two deadly shootings.
