2 men in custody after bank robbery in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Police have taken two men into custody after a bank robbery in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.

The incident happened at the Wells Fargo Bank around 10:05 a.m. on the 5100 block of Frankford Avenue.

The bank teller told police that a man robbed the bank at gun point then fled in a white vehicle.

Police say they located the vehicle at the intersection of Adams Avenue and Bingham in the Crescentville section.

Two men were taken into custody.

Police recovered the money and the weapon.

The teller was able to make a positive identification of one of the men, police say.
