Two people were stabbed early Monday morning in North Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two men are recovering after a knife attack in North Philadelphia.

It happened at Ridge and Cecil B. Moore avenues at 4:30 a.m. Monday.

Police say one stabbing victim flagged down police a few blocks away from the intersection.

Officers took him to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was treated.

A short time later, a 911 call came in to police about a second person who had been stabbed in the arm at Ridge and Cecil B. Moore.

Officers took that man to Hahnemann as well.

Investigators then determined the second victim had been stabbed by the first following an argument.

Charges are now pending against the first man.

Both men are expected to survive.
