2 serial burglary suspects arrested in Wilmington

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Two Wilmington men have been arrested in connection with a string of armed robberies during the past two weeks.

Police said 23-year-old Jeffrey Holdsworth and 32-year-old Steven Linton walked into four businesses, flashed a gun, demanded money and walked out with cash.

Holdsworth is facing multiple charges including four counts of Robbery 1st. Linton has been charged with one count of Robbery 1st and one count of conspiracy 2nd.

Police apprehended both men without incident at a home on Wednesday on Junction Street.

Both men are being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $120,000 and $68,000 cash bail, respectively.
