2 women stabbed in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. -- Two women were sent to the hospital after both were stabbed on Thursday afternoon in Wilmington, Delaware.

The women were found in an apartment around 2:30 p.m. in the area of 26th and Tatnall streets.

Witnesses at the scene there was a fight involving a number of people, some armed with weapons.

One woman had stab wounds to the shoulder and neck, while the other was stabbed in the leg.

There was no word on the circumstances of this incident.
