2-year-old girl falls out of window in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A two-year-old girl is hospitalized after she fell from a second story window in West Philadelphia.

It happened after 7:30 p.m. Saturday on the 800 block of North Markoe Street.

Police say the toddler fell out of a rear second floor window, which had no screen on it.

She was playing with toys while her mother was in another room.

Police say the fall appears to be an accident.

The toddler was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment.

She is listed in stable condition.
