Bucks County officials are investigating a fire that heavily damaged a kennel in Haycock Township.

HAYCOCK, Pa. (WPVI) -- Bucks County officials are investigating a fire that heavily damaged a kennel in Haycock Township.

Flames were reported Tuesday evening at Haycock Kennels in the 600 block of Apple Road.

Crews say upon their arrival fire was coming from the building.

20 dogs were in the kennel when the fire broke. The owners rescued 19 of the animals, and a firefighter rescued one dog.

Two people were treated and released for smoke inhalation.

The fire was placed under control at 5:43 p.m.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
