Police search for suspect in West Philadelphia shooting

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the shooter that left a man injured in West Philadelphia.

It happened at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday along the 5700 block of Chestnut Street.

Police say someone shot an unidentified 54-year-old man twice in the torso.

Responding officers rushed the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment. He is listed in stable condition.

St far, there are no arrests or a motive for the shooting.
