Suspect sought in deadly Pottstown stabbing

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- The search is on for a murder suspect in Montgomery County.

Steven Holmes, who police say has no fixed address, is wanted for the fatal stabbing of 35-year-old Diamonde Stone.

It happened after a fight broke out at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of High Street in Pottstown.

Officers arrived to find Stone suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was pronounced dead a short time later at Pottstown Memorial Hospital.

Holmes is wanted on charges including first and third degree murder.
