Coast Guard rescues 92-year-old fisherman off coast of Atlantic City

BALTIMORE (WPVI) -- Coast Guard personnel rescued a man aboard a fishing vessel five miles east of Atlantic City, N.J., Sunday afternoon.

Coast Guard Station Atlantic City watchstanders received notification of a 92-year-old man experiencing possible cardiac issues aboard the fishing vessel Fish Finder II, five miles off Atlantic City.

A rescue boat crew was launched and the man was taken off the boat and brought ashore at Station Atlantic City.

The man was then taken by EMS to Atlantic Care Medical Center in Atlantic City in stable condition.
