Workers tied up during T-Mobile store heist in Chester County

THORNBURY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are looking for multiple suspects after workers were tied up during a robbery at a T-Mobile store in Chester County.

The robbery happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday at the store at 1359 Dilworthtown Crossing in Thornbury Twp.

According to police, the first suspect entered the store with a gun in his hand. That man ordered the workers into the rear stockroom.

A second suspect entered the store with a trash bag and ordered one of the workers to fill it with cell phones and tablets.

The second suspect then tied up the workers as the first suspect threatened to shoot them if they failed to cooperate.

Police say the two suspects were communicating with a third suspect who was inside a silver SUV. The driver of that SUV pulled up behind the store and the suspects loaded it up with merchandise.

Police believe the suspects then fled south on Route 202 toward Delaware.

The workers were able to free themselves and call 911.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20's, standing approximately 5'10" tall with brown hair, mustache and a green tattoo on his neck. He was wearing a black knit cap, black bandana with white print, black gloves, a gray zip hooded sweatshirt gray sweatpants.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 6'3" tall wearing a black knit cap, black mask, black bomber style zip up jacket, black gloves, black pants and black gloves.

The vehicle involved in this robbery appears to be a silver sport utility vehicle with dark tinted windows.
