First female controller for Philadelphia Rebecca Rhynhart sworn in

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Rebecca Rhynhart made history Tuesday as she was sworn in as Philadelphia's first female City Controller.

She replaces longtime incumbent Alan Butkovitz, whom she beat in the Democratic primary.

"I'm humbled by the overwhelming support across Philadelphia and honored to serve as your next City Controller. Let's get started!" Rhynhart tweeted back in November.

One of Rhynhart's first tasks is to analyze the Philadelphia Parking Authority, which she claims is mismanaged and needs to replace its board.
