Man shot and wounded in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is recovering after being shot in North Philadelphia.

It happened at 1 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of West Cambria Street.

Police tell Action News the victim was shot while walking down the street.

Officers rushed him to an area hospital in stable condition.

Investigators were working to determine who shot the man and why.
