Girl, 9, killed in sledding accident in Virginia

CHESTER, Va. (WPVI) -- Many children spent time outdoors Thursday playing in snow brought by a massive nor'easter.

For one child's family, however, a sledding run ended in tragedy.

It happened in Chester, Virginia.

A 9-year-old girl was sledding down the driveway in front of a home when she slid into the path of an oncoming pickup truck.

The child was taken to an area hospital, where she later died.

There was no word if the driver will face any charges.
