Eagles players surprise patients at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- This is the week for which Philadelphia Eagles fans have been waiting. The Birds are counting down to their playoff game this Saturday against the Atlanta Falcons.

The team is of course game planning for that match-up, but they kicked off the playoff week by giving back in the community.

Eagles players visited Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

They met with the young patients and played BINGO with the kids and their families.

Eagles players and cheerleaders also took photos and rallied the crowd for the team's playoff run.

The surprise made for a memorable day, for patients and players alike.
