PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The countdown to the Minnesota Vikings is underway for Philadelphia Eagles fans.

Some told us they plan to wear their Eagles gear every day this week until Sunday's game.

"I've had this jacket for four years now," said Keith Henry of Center City Philadelphia. "And now I feel good and confident. I think they're going to the championship."

Others told Action News they are still recuperating from the Birds' near-heart-stopping victory over the Falcons Saturday. Everyone, though, is grateful for it.

And now it's time to look to the next game, the NFC Championship.

On Sunday, the Eagles will battle the Vikings, who won on the very last play of their game against the Saints.

Birds fans like their odds.

"I don't trust (Vikings QB Case) Keenum at all," said Henry. (Eagles QB Nick) Foles is where it's at right now."

But the fans also say you can't take any team lightly at this point.

"At this point, it's one game at a time," said Donte Reed of North Philadelphia. "Like Doug (Pederson) says, 'Don't get too high. Don't get too low.' Let's keep going. Keep going all the way!"

And even though there is a lot of work to be done before this weekend's game, we found some Eagles players making time to help out the community.

We got a chance to talk to punter Donnie Jones and wide receiver Torrey Smith as they helped sort donations at Cradles to Crayons in West Conshohocken.

They can't thank the Eagles nation enough for the support heading into Sunday's game.

"I've played a lot of places, but the Linc on Saturday was unbelievable, probably the best atmosphere I've ever played in, and I know this Sunday it's going to be rocking even more," Jones said.

"Even the folks who aren't in the Linc on game day, you feel it," said Smith.
