Senator Orrin Hatch removes his 'invisible' glasses

Senator Orrin Hatch has become an instant meme.

It looks like he's removing a pair of glasses from his face. But look again, and you'll realize, he's not wearing any!

It happened during a Senate judiciary committee hearing on Tuesday.

A spokesman says Hatch left his reading glasses at home and it was simply muscle memory that led him to make the mistake.
