BETHLEHEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a house blaze in Bethlehem, Northampton County.

The raging fire started around 9 p.m. Friday along the 3700 block of Ironstone Road.

Firefighters arrived to heavy flames showing inside a split level home.

The fire was very intense and crews had to back out and take up defensive positions.

There's no word on the identity of the victim who was inside the home.
