3 animals killed in Gloucester City shed fire

GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A shed fire claimed the lives of three animals in Gloucester City, New Jersey.

It happened around 6:30 Friday night in the 200 block of Fern Avenue.

The flames broke out inside a two-story barn style shed just 15 yards from a home.

The fire was quickly brought under control.

No one was injured but three animals were killed, including a chicken and two potbelly pigs.

The other animals in the shed survived.

No word on a cause for the fire.
