WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Three men are suffering from leg injuries after multiple shootings in Wilmington.

All of the incidents are believed to have taken place in the area of 3rd and North Lincoln streets.

Around 4:22 p.m. Wednesday police responded to shots fired.

Upon arrival, police found a 61-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper leg. He was transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

While still on the scene, police were notified a 24-year-old male was transported to Saint Francis Hospital, by private vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper leg. He is in good condition.

Minutes later, a 24-year-old male was reportedly transported to Christiana Hospital, by private vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper leg. He is in stable condition.

So far, it is unknown if the shootings are related.
