3 injured in house blaze in Mercer County, N.J.

HOPEWELL TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Three people were injured after a fast-moving house fire in Hopewell Township, New Jersey early Wednesday morning.

The blaze broke out just before 1:00 a.m. on the unit block of Caroline Drive.

Firefighters had to rescue one person from a second floor roof.

All three victims were checked out at the hospital.

The fire started in the basement and it took crews a little over a half hour to place it under control.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
