3 shot during cookout in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say three people were shot during a cookout in Southwest Philadelphia late Sunday night.

It happened just before midnight on the 1300 block of South Paxon Street.

A group of people were barbecuing on a front porch when shots were fired, police say.

A 48-year-old man was hit in the stomach. A 21-year-old was wounded in the stomach and leg.

Both are in critical condition.

A 28-year-old woman was grazed in the leg. She is in stable condition.

Police say they found 21 shell casings at the scene.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
