Firefighter injured battling Hammonton fire

HAMMONTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities say a firefighter was injured while battling a fire in Hammonton, New Jersey.

The fire broke out just before 7 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of Union Road.

The fire grew to two alarms before it was brought under control.

The Red Cross is now helping a family of five displaced by the flames.

The condition of the firefighter has not been released.
