Person murdered in Mays Landing housing development

MAYS LANDING, N.J. (WPVI) -- A crime scene tape is surrounding a parking lot in Mays Landing as police investigate a homicide.

Late Thursday morning, Police were called to Winterberry drive, which is inside the Village at Hardings Run 2 development.

A number of detectives are on scene looking at evidence.

They are not yet saying how the person died or if anyone is in custody.
