Young man shot in the head in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A 19-year-old male is stable after being shot in the head in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood.

The shooting happened before 3 p.m. Saturday on the 1700 block of Scattergood Street.

Police say the victim was shot once in the head and rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.

The victim has not been identified.
