Herd of horses stampede down highway near Atlanta

CLARKSTON, Ga. (WPVI) -- A herd of horses caused quite a commotion in a Georgia town on Saturday.

Video, taken by Jonas Allen, shows the horses running through traffic along Highway 78 in Clarkston as cars slowly trailed behind them.

According to reports, police were able to successfully wrangle the horses and safely escort them off of the highway.

There is no word on where the horses came from, or how they got loose.
