WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Employees from PECO spent the day at a West Philadelphia library, sprucing it up for the community.

One group worked inside to clean the shelves and organize books.

Meanwhile another part of the team was outside sprucing up the gardens and planting new trees outside the Cobbs Creek Free Library.

More than 900 PECO employees are taking part in service projects across our area, as part of National volunteer week.
