1 injured in Parkside fire

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- One person was injured in a fire in the Parkside section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. Monday on the 1300 block of North 54th Street.

Fire crews say they encountered heavy flames when they arrived.

There is no word on the injured person's condition.

A cause of the fire has not been determined.
