Wilmington Riverfront transformed for 32nd 'Tennis in the Streets.'

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Nearly 1,000 Wilmington students got outside and tried their hand at tennis Friday.

It was the 32nd year of 'Tennis in the Streets.'

Roads along the Wilmington Riverfront transformed into courts where the kids had lessons from the U.S. Tennis Association.

Some of the young athletes were offered scholarships to attend summer camp programs once school gets out.
