A celebration in honor of the Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A celebration was held Monday afternoon in Center City in honor of the Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia.

Hundreds of people, including Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, were at the 2018 Celebrate Hope Annual Luncheon to recognize the organization's more than 150 years of global service.

Each year, The Salvation Army honors individuals and organizations who demonstrate exceptional selflessness.
