2 hurt in violent crash on Kelly Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people are hospitalized after a crash on Kelly Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

It happened before 9:30 p.m. Friday near Fountain Green Drive.

Police say the driver lost control and the car slammed into a pole.

Video from the Action Cam showed extensive damage to the vehicle.

Two people were taken to area hospitals.

There was no immediate word on their conditions, or what led to the crash.
