Woman jumps from window to escape Frankford fire

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A woman jumped from a third-floor window to escape a fire in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.

The fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Cottage Court Apartments on the 5200 block of Cottage Street.

The building was evacuated.

Crews brought the flames under control just before 6 a.m.

The woman and a man were taken to the hospital.
