First human case of Keystone virus discovered in Florida - Ali Gorman reports during Action News at 5pm on June 21, 2018.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A teenager in Florida is the first human to be diagnosed with Keystone virus.

Like West Nile and Zika, it's spread by mosquitoes.

Experts thought it could only be spread to animals but this is the first human case.

It sparked a fever and severe rash. To prevent mosquito bites, try to cover-up with clothing, use repellent and get rid of standing water.
