Man killed in Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Police in Wilmington, Delaware are searching for a shooter who left a man for dead on the side of the street.

The shooting happened around midnight Monday.

Police say the victim, identified only as a man in his 20s, was shot several times in the head.

Officers found him dead at the intersection of 8th and Broom streets.

There is no apparent motive nor a suspect in the shooting.
