Rowan College of Engineering is hosting its RISE program, that invites students to learn the basics of engineering.

GLASSBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- School is out but dozens of students are taking part in a fun summer learning project underway at a South Jersey college.

Rowan College of Engineering is hosting its RISE program.

The program invites area high school students from across New Jersey to learn the basics of engineering while getting a glimpse of college life.

Action News was there as the students took part in several hands-on lessons including chemical engineering, concrete canoes and rocket bottles.
