Arrest made in fatal pedestrian accident in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities have made an arrest in a fatal pedestrian accident in Camden.

The accident happened back on October 4th at Westfield and Rosedale avenues.

53-year-old Benjamin Cortes-Ramos was struck and killed while crossing the street.

On Friday, police announced the arrest of 74-year-old Neri Garcia. He faces charges of first degree death by auto.

According to toxicology results, he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.21.
